Hello Patrick,
I had the pleasure meeting you and Maynard here in Greenville, SC back in '03. The band had a cancellation down south and (we were blessed) that on your way North you stopped here at a small venue called "The Handlebar" to fill in some travel time. I never thought I would be as amazed with any other trumpet player other than Maynard until seeing you perform. I was lucky enough to get both your autographs and then met up with you and the band for drinks at "Wild Wings" downtown. I will never forget that night and look forward to seeing you perform again soon. Just wanted to share that special night and its memories.

Hey Pat!!
I know it's been a long time since we had a chance to chat, but things sort of got real busy for me as of late... Still missing the MF days and all those gigs at the Blue Note and other NY venues. I still keep up my lessons with J. Callet and recently purchased one of his new horns... Oh yea!!! I'm in a new band now as the only trumpet guy... Still not screaming all night, but having fun just the same. Hope to talk to you soon...
